Types of Herpes Symptoms
The virus is distinguished by where it appears on the body. Oral herpes symptoms appear on the mouth. Genital herpes symptoms are located on the genitalia. These are the two most common forms of herpes. Other types of herpes simplex virus are herpetic whitlow, herpes gladiatorum, keratitis, cerebral herpes infection encephalitis, neonatal herpes and Mollaret's meningitis. Bell's palsy may also be caused by the herpes virus.
